Resources:

Find as many resources from Books, Website's, Magazines and TV Shows that will help you "Keep up to speed" or help you learn the material in class. You should be able to find at least 10 different resources. (The more resources you find, the better the grade.) C|net Central, YouTube tutorials, and Adobe Help Center are examples of the type of sites you should be looking for. Post this information on Canvas. If you find a site I haven't seen, you will get extra credit. Make sure to tell me what type of info is on these resources.

Name:

Create a simple graphic with your name and different color fonts. You should create 2 artboards or more versions!

Face Painting

Using the Shape, Pen and Pen Curvature tools recreate this Face Painting. Two Artboards, one a recreation and another your version!

Cartoon Animal:

Create 2 or more artboards with Cartoon Animals. You should create 2 artboards or more versions!

Post Card:

Create a Postcard (4-1/4 in high x 6 in long) using Symbols, Shape and Line tools. You should create 2 artboards or more versions!

Run for Office Bumper Sticker:

Create a bumper Sticker (size wise).  The sticker should have your last name that looks patriotic (flag or similar) plus the office you want. (you can make up an office.)You should create 2 artboards or more versions!

Final Project:

The goal of this assignment is to show me what you have learned in this class! You can create an advertisement poster for PVCC, fake movie poster with you as a character or an advertisement poster for a local sports team (you should post this on their fan site if you choose this option.) You should create 2 artboards or more versions!

Illustrator Tricks:

Find a tutorial or trick on how to do something in Illustrator. Post the trick on Canvas with the location of the tick on the web or book or magazine where you found this trick.
